$50,000 Powerball ticket sold in Ringgold

A $50,000 winning ticket has been sold in Ringgold for the Dec. 16 Powerball drawing, according to a news release from the Georgia Lottery Corporation.

No one has claimed the prize yet. In Georgia, Powerball winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes.

The Tiger Market on Alabama Highway sold the winning ticket.

The winning numbers from the Dec. 16 drawing were 9-35-37-50-63 and the Powerball was 11.

Proceeds from Powerball and all other Georgia Lottery games benefit education in the state, including Georgia’s HOPE scholarship program and Pre-K program.
