A single-car crash Friday in DeKalb County, Ala., killed a local man after his Chevrolet Silverado left the road a hit a tree on DeKalb County Road 26.
The victim was identified by Alabama Law Enforcement Agency officials as Colby Brian Brooks, 20, of Crossville, Ala.
The crash happened about 3:50 a.m. CST Friday about three miles south of Crossville.
Brooks was not wearing a seatbelt, officials said.
