Shooting victim shows up at local hospital

Officers with the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a local hospital early Saturday morning after a man arrived there with a gunshot wound.

Police arrived shortly after 5:20 a.m. and were informed the victim, William Harris, 33, arrived at the hospital via a personally owned vehicle. His wound was minor.

Harris refused to speak to investigators about the incident, but authorities are investigating and anyone with information is asked to call police at 423-698-2525.
