Flames engulfed a Dalewood-area home early Sunday morning, drawing six fire companies to control the blaze.
No one was found inside the house in the 3800 block of Larry Drive when the Chattanooga Fire Department arrived just before 3 a.m., according to a news release.
The fire was controlled in less than an hour, and the cause remained under investigation Sunday, the release said.
