R&B superstar and Chattanooga native Usher Raymond made a surprise appearance speaking at Tyner Academy Monday morning.
According to sources, Usher says he's going to stick around and hang out with Tyner students for a little while.
In September, Usher performed at Dalewood Middle School, giving an outdoor concert and telling the crowd he misses Chattanooga. The star, born Usher Raymond IV, attended Dalewood before moving to Atlanta when he was 14 years old.
On that trip, he also visited Studio Everything, an art space on Glass Street, where he spent two hours talking to students.
In 2015, he visited Dalewood Middle, the Orange Grove Center and the Chattanooga Center for Creative Arts.
