Trousdale School in Cleveland, Tenn., has issued a call to artists for its second annual juried art show, “From My Perspective.”

The exhibition was created in 2016 to provide artists with disabilities in East Tennessee and North Georgia an opportunity to showcase their work alongside the work of their peers. Trousdale School serves high-functioning adults with intellectual disabilities.

The show is open to any individual 14 or older and is not limited to artists with disabilities. Each participant may submit up to three artworks.

Works will be on view Thursday, March 16, at Trousdale School, 3171 Hewitt St. SE. There will be two opportunities to view the show: a morning session convenient for school groups and day programs and an evening session that is open to the community. The evening session will begin at 6 p.m. and feature a silent auction for artists who wish to sell their work.

School officials say more than 200 people attended last year’s show, which featured works by 58 artists from 13 organizations across Cleveland, Chattanooga and North Georgia.
