Did I hear on the radio show that Butch Jones was a 2 on Dodd’s rankings? Seems low. What if UT goes 6-6, does he get the boot? What if they go 9-3, does he get a raise? Or a contract extension?

We did kick this a round a little bit on the radio show this week. (Side note: Much thanks and props to Weston Wamp for filling in for David and me Thursday and today as we chase all-star baseball players around the mid-state.)
As we wrote on Thursday in this space, Dennis Dodd’s list is normally a fine one and one that deserves some thorough discourse. This year, with only two 5s – which signifies the hottest of hot seats – there is a gaping void in the number and perception of hotness.
