Bradley County Sheriff’s Deputies are asking for the public’s help to find Travis Anthony Grissom, 25.
Grissom and two passengers were involved in a chase with deputies after allegedly stealing a vehicle from Love’s Truck Stop in Charleston.
Responding to a 911 call to the truck stop off Interstate 75, deputies spotted the stolen vehicle and chased it to the One Stop Shop on U.S. Highway 65, said Bradley County Sheriff’s Office spokesman James E. Bradford Jr.
The driver and two passengers jumped out and ran. Deputies caught the passengers but the driver got away. The deputies also found out the thieves had altered the license tag.
Bradford said Christopher Ryan Suits, 22, and Kaitlyn Ashlee Mitchell, 19, are charged with theft over $2,500, felony evading arrest and alteration of a vehicle tag.
He said the driver, Travis Anthony Grissom, 25, is being sought on the same charges.
Grissom remains at large.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 423-728-7300.
