A 57-year-old man has been charged with criminal homicide and tampering with evidence in connection to the stabbing death of a woman Sunday night.
Ashley Cates, 30, was found suffering from several apparent lacerations or stab wounds in her home on the 1500 block of Bailey Avenue shortly before 9 p.m.
Investigators collected evidence at the scene which led them to believe Tyrone Murphy was the suspect. He was taken into custody and booked into the Hamilton County jail.
