The Chattanooga Department of Transportation announced that Broad Street will be closed between Tennessee Ave. and St. Elmo Ave. beginning today at 10:30 a.m. through August, 31, 2017.
The section will be closed for drainage system improvements. All businesses in the area will remain open.
Detours will be posted to direct traffic to alternate routes around the work.
