Timothy Gadson III is the third of five superintendent finalist to interview with the Hamilton County Board of Education this week.
Gadson is meeting this afternoon with elected officials, education stakeholders and the community, and will end his day interviewing for an hour-and-a-half with the school board.
Gadson is the superintendent designee and executive director of curriculum and schools for Robbinsdale Area Schools, a suburb outside of Minneapolis, Minn. Before this, he was the associate superintendent for Atlanta Public Schools from 2014 to 2016.
The two remaining superintendent finalists, including Hamilton County Schools Interim Superintendent Kirk Kelly, will have the same daylong interview process the next two days.
Monday the board interviewed Arthur Wayne Johnson for the post, and yesterday interviewed Stuart Greenberg.
