Multi-vehicle crash in Dalton, Ga., results in rollover, entrapment, injuries

Patrol officers responded to a three car crash with a rollover and entrapment this morning in the area of Abutment Road and Bear Creek Drive in Dalton, Ga.

Officers arrived on the scene and started treating the injured and called for the traffic unit to investigate the crash, said Bruce Frazier of the Dalton Police Department.

The driver, Donald Clements Jr., was traveling north on Abutment Road in a Chevy 1500 pickup truck when he left his lane and entered the southbound lane, striking two vehicles. The first vehicle struck was a white Yukon driven by Isabell Domingo. The Yukon suffered minor damage and there were no injuries to the driver. The second vehicle Clements hit was a silver Chevy Aveo driven by Micaela Vasquez. She was transported to Hamilton Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Clements was flown by Life Force to Erlanger because of his injuries. There are not any updates on his condition at this time.

The traffic unit is still conducting its investigation.
