Following a recent rainstorm, the water level of Chickamuga Lake was higher than normal. Perched high on the hillside, overlooking the whitecaps on the water, Aris’ Harbor Light was also exceeding expectations.

“Got a little Philly cheesesteak here,” said owner Aris Sklavenitis, as he placed a sandwich — which could hardly be described as little — onto the table before me.
The Philly cheesesteak, served on a hoagie roll and smothered with grilled onions and white cheese, represents just one of the new meals now available at Aris’. For those desiring a more decadent dinner, I predict the new lobster-filled Gocce pasta will soon be a best-seller.
