UPDATE: Because of mechanical problems with their van en route to Chattanooga for tonight’s Nightfall concert series, Caveman has canceled its headlining performance.
Roots rock band Larkin Poe will be the replacement. Larkin Poe will take the stage at 8 p.m. in Miller Plaza, 850 Market St.
The Atlanta-baed band received critical acclaim for “Kin,” its debut album. The band is fronted by sisters Rebecca and Megan Lovell.
The band is named after the sisters’ great-great-grandfather, Larkin Poe, a direct descendant of Edgar Allen Poe.
Chattanooga’s own Okinawa will still open at 7 p.m. It’s comprised of songwriter/producer Charles Allison, Jarrod Gee on bass and Ivan Garcia on drums.
