If seeing Christian comedian Mark Lowry in a live show is on your bucket list, you won’t want to miss “An Evening With Mark Lowry” tonight, May 25, at Mount Olive Ministries, 3522 Harrison Pike in Cleveland, Tenn.
The 7 p.m. show is a benefit for the Salvation Army of Cleveland’s youth program. Tickets are $25 general admission or $35 VIP seating. Tickets will be sold at the door.
In February, Lowry told USA Today that at the end of this year he is cutting back on touring and will come off the road to focus on new projects. He explained he wasn’t retiring, just “retreading,” since he will still appear for select dates.
Mark Lowry quotes
› God spreads grace like a 4-year-old spreads peanut butter — he gets it all over everything.› I do one sit-up a day. I get up in the morning, that’s the first half. I lay down at night, that’s the second half.
Lowry is a gospel singer, songwriter, author, storyteller and comedian who came to fame as the baritone in the Gaither Vocal Band and Bill Gaither’s comic sidekick on Gaither Homecoming appearances.
