Cosmic Southern funk describes the sound of Natchez Tracers, a trio of three Nashville friends and an Illinois transplant.

Formed in 2014, Natchez Tracers consists of Nashville natives Chris Long, drums, vocals; Lewis Stubbs Jr., guitars, vocals; and Josh Womack, guitars, vocals; along with Brad Clark, bass and vocals, from Peoria, Ill.

They’ll be performing at Clyde’s on Main on Friday, May 26, at 10 p.m.

Their set will include music from their debut album, “Zeroes and Ones.” It captures key elements of the Tracers’ sound with expansive and emotion-filled genre-bending tracks.
