Whitfield deputies find home for boa constrictor

Whitfield County deputy Cory Spence handles 7-foot long boa constrictor.

A call received on April 3 at Cedar Ridge Road led Whitfield County deputies to a 7-foot long boa constrictor.

Deputies located the snake and contacted deputy Cory Spence, who had experience handling snakes and reptiles.

When Spence arrived on the scene from the detention center, he immediately took the snake into custody.

Spence turned the snake over to Sgt. Kory Bain, who found the snake a home in Chatsworth.
