One person is dead after a reported shooting Sunday afternoon on Hotwater Road, according to a post on the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office's Facebook page.
The shooting happened about 5 p.m. in the 1600 block of Hotwater Road, the post reads. On arrival, deputies found a deceased person who had sustained a gunshot wound.
Authorities are still actively working the scene, according to the post.
The name of the victim is not being released pending notification of next-of-kin.
