BOYD BUCHANAN BUCCANEERS

Head coach: Kevin Orr Rodriguez (first year here; 18-24 overall)

Returning starters: 7 offensive, 7 defensive

Key players: RB/OLB Preston Edmondson (6-0, 175), QB/FS Eli Evans (6-2, 180), WR/LB Jordan Howard (6-1, 180), OL/DL Jabari Johnson (5-10, 230), WR/CB JaMichael McGoy (5-10, 165).

Team strengths: While they’re thin in overall numbers, the Bucs do bring back a legitimate leader with the return of Evans, a junior who is expected to take control on both sides of the ball.
