One person has been taken to a local hospital after a shooting that took place near Blue Bell Avenue in Ooltewah, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office confirms.
The victim suffered what appears to be a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
As the exact location of the shooting is still being determined, sheriff’s office detectives are working closely with personnel from the Chattanooga and Collegedale police departments to investigate this incident, according to a news release.
