The Hamilton County Coalition, Grace Pointe Church and the Chattanooga Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, working with Walgreens Pharmacy, will offer free flu shots Saturday at Grace Pointe Church, 7 Tuxedo Ave., in Chattanooga.

Shots will be offered between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to the first 100 people aged 13 and up, the coalition said in a news release.

Also during that time, Dr. Tiundra Love will present a free lecture, “The Truth About the Influenza Vaccine: Dispel the Myths.”

The release said Love is a physician at the VA’s Chattanooga Outpatient Clinic and has practiced medicine for more than 20 years.

Information regarding proper medication storage techniques and medication disposal locations will also be discussed.
