The Chattanooga Lookouts started a five-game home series against the Montgomery Biscuits by ending a four-game losing streak, winning for just the sixth time in the season’s second half.

They sure made it interesting, though.

Up six runs after three innings, the Lookouts let the Biscuits work their way back before holding on to win 7-6 in front of 2,663 on Thursday night at AT&T Field.

Chattanooga used six pitchers, with Paco Rodriguez (3-0) getting the win after throwing back-to-back scoreless innings in the sixth and seventh and Cody Stashak recording the final out for his first save of the season. Stashak induced a game-ending groundout after giving up a bases-loaded three-run double to Michael Brousseau, the first batter he faced.

Down 7-3 entering the ninth, Montgomery got a leadoff single from Jake Cronenworth and a one-out single from Nick Solak to bring Peter Maris III to the plate. Ryne Harper struck out Maris, but the pitch was wild and Maris made it to first to load the bases and chase Harper.
