A man was shot on the 500 block of Central Ave. after midnight Thursday.
Chattanooga police responded to the call and located the victim, 38-year-old Miguel Doriste, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Doriste was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A crime scene was established at this location and evidence was gathered.
