The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is conducting a criminal investigation after a fight occurred in one of the cell blocks at Silverdale Detention Center on Saturday night, according to a news release.
The fight occurred at around 9 p.m., and three inmates suffered non-life threatening injuries. Two inmates were transported offsite to receive treatment. No staff were injured.
Silverdale has been placed on lockdown, with all inmates confined to their cells with escorted movement only.
