Fort Oglethorpe restaurant shut down after failing inspection with 31

Sometimes restaurants barely miss the passing mark of 70 based on a small infraction here or there, and sometimes you miss the mark by a mile and score a 31.

Kobe Hibachi & Sushi restaurant at 2603 Battlefield Parkway in Fort Oglethorpe scored a 31 on its inspection. The restaurant reportedly had a significant amount of a risk factors and was forced to close. The restaurant will remain closed until more training can be done with all employees by the health department.

According to the report, employees were not washing their hands when changing tasks, there was no hand soap and hand sink, employees were eating and drinking during prep, menu items were misrepresented, there were multiple severely dented cans and sushi workers could not provide proof of tuna being used as sushi.
