Later this month, the Girls Preparatory School varsity rowing team will compete at an international event, the Head of the Charles Regatta, in Cambridge Massachusetts.

The only school in Chattanooga to enter the competition, the girls will compete in the Women's Youth Eights on Oct. 21.

"Our girls will be racing crews from every corner of the United States - California to New England, Florida to Seattle, and everywhere in between," said David Hall, head varsity rowing coach.
