College students, who vote widely for Democratic Party candidates in presidential elections, lack a little knowledge about the variety of men and women running for that party’s nomination in 2020, according to a recent video report by The Daily Caller.
Students at American University in Washington, D.C., were recently asked about the peccadilloes some of the candidates had been involved in, but their lack of knowledge was telling.
One student guessed it might have been former U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke of Texas who attended an X-rated movie with his mother – it actually was former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper – but they didn’t know O’Rourke was the candidate who had a DUI, pranked his wife into believing their child’s poop was avocado and wrote about running over children as a teenager.
Former Vice President Joe Biden was guessed for the DUI (because he’s been driving for 60 years), and one woman allowed as only a “horrible person” would write about running over children.
