Chattanooga Lookouts defeat Blue Wahoos in game 1 of series

Tuesday's recap: The Lookouts pounded out 12 hits to win game one of the series. Gavin LaValley, Stuart Fairchild and Samir Duenez each had two hits, with LaValley collecting RBI singles in the first and third innings. Chattanooga (18-32) scored four runs in the third inning to break a 2-2 tie, with Michael Beltre and Calten Daal joining LaValley with run-scoring hits in the frame. Brad Markey earned his first win as a Lookout with five innings of three-hit, two-run pitching. Juan Martinez worked around a single and a walk to secure his 11th save.

Next up: Game two of a five-game series in Pensacola is tonight at 7:35 EDT.
