With its locally inspired flavor and a fun, relaxing atmosphere, The Foundry is the perfect spot to close out a hard day's work after leaving the office. Add to that The Foundry's convenient location inside The Chattanoogan hotel in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, and you have the makings for the perfect evening out.

Chef Anthony Frank shared that the restaurant is closing out the summer season with more delicious offerings than ever before.

"We have the honey- glazed Faroe Islands salmon with confit fingerling potatoes and green beans that have a sweet, savory pop on your palate," Frank said, adding other new dishes include Shrimp and Grits.

"These jumbo Gulf shrimp are sautéed with fatback andouille sausage, finished with roasted heirloom tomatoes and cream over stone-ground grits, which is out-of-this-world good," he described.

Another delectable offering is the cast-iron seared, 14-ounce, prime ribeye steak with chimichurri compound butter. It's served with confit fingerling potatoes, caramelized carrots and hericot verts.

Pair any of these dishes with one of The Foundry's top-of-the-line liquors or handcrafted cocktails, like the Buzz Around Town vanilla-infused Chattanooga Whiskey with Mad Priest cold brew, almond milk and house-made honey-chocolate bitters. Your evening is sure to be full of luscious flavor.

If it's been awhile since you've visited, or you haven't made it to The Foundry yet, the vibe is a fun, inviting atmosphere where local fresh ingredients of the highest quality are perfectly prepared to customers' tastes, Frank noted. A game room with billiards, shuffleboard and several flat-screen TVs for groups to enjoy their favorite sporting events during or after their meal is also on-site.

"We take pride in our sourcing of local ingredients to inspire our Chattanoogan experience and support our community," Frank said.
