Happy Valentine’s Day, all you lovebirds! To all you single people – just remember that tomorrow those heart-shaped chocolates will be half price.

And, to all you slackers who still haven’t gotten a game plan for today, here are a few last-minute ideas that are outside the (candy) box. You can thank us later.

James and Johnnie Mae Elligan fell in love in high school – and have now been married for 75 years. So what’s their secret? Here, the Elligans, along with other local high school sweethearts, share their stories of long-lasting love.

Twelve-year-old Brenden Crowe doesn’t let his illness, or the fact that he’s restricted to a motorized wheelchair, dampen his sunny disposition. In fact, his older brother Christian calls Brenden his “go-to guy” and “biggest fan” who helps kick him into gear with a positive attitude and wide smile.
