Gray power

If you thought former Vice President Joe Biden was the dinosaur among 2020 Democratic presidential candidates at 76, you’d be wrong. It’s former Alaska Sen. Mike Gravel, 89, and he’s pumped from the results of a Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll survey.

The survey showed him receiving 1% of support in a question to Democrats about who they would support in next year’s presidential primary. The octogenarian tweeted – or someone tweeted for him: “Our condolences to [U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell, 38, U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, 52, U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton, 40, and U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, 59] (all fake progressives and stooges for corporate power) for polling below us in the new Harvard/Harris poll. There’s always next time.”

Gravel first ran for office in 1958, before each of the four aforementioned candidates was born. He last served in public office in 1981, when he retired after two terms as U.S. senator.

Oh, she’s from New York
