EDITOR’S NOTE: For the past two weeks, the Times Free Press has published stories from readers about life experiences they attribute to divine intervention. We’ll publish another each week as your stories continue to arrive. If you have one to share, email Life@timesfreepress.com, or mail to Life Department, Chattanooga Times Free Press, 400 E. 11th St., Chattanooga, TN 37403.

This week, Kenneth H. Williams of Cleveland, Tennessee, shares two experiences. He says his daughter has never forgotten the vision he describes in the first story.

Guardian angel

When my daughter was 4 1/2 years old, she developed Type 1 diabetes and was on insulin. While we were getting the amount of insulin she needed regulated, our doctor told us to check her sugar every two to three hours in case it was low. We let her sleep with us and set the alarm to awaken every two to three hours because her doctor told us if it got too low she could go into a coma.

One night while we were all asleep, she sat up in bed and said, “Daddy, check my sugar. It’s low.”
