Carrie Turcotte, a wealth management advisor for NorthShore Financial Strategies, and Jody B. Riggs, a private wealth advisor for Ameriprise Financial in Chattanooga, were recognized on the 2020 Top Women Advisors list by Forbes magazine.

The annual list recognizes financial advisors who have demonstrated high levels of ethical standards, professionalism and success in the business. The rankings are based on data provided by over 29,000 of the nation’s most productive advisors.

Turcotte has 14 years of experience in the financial services industry.

“As investment planning has become more complex, my top priority is to work with my clients to develop strategies to help give them confidence around all facets of their financial lives and achieve their short- and long-term investment goals,” she said.

Riggs, who is both a certified public accountant and certified financial planner, is part of Riggs & Associates, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services. Riggs has 28 years of experience with Ameriprise Financial.

Humanaut joins 2020 Ad Age A-List

Advertising and marketing industry trade magazine Ad Age named Humanaut as one of its A-List agencies for 2020.

The recognition was the first for the seven-year-old shop by Ad Age, but Humanaut has previously won several awards for its popular consumer campaigns for brands such as hello, Bombas, West Elm, Organic Voices, Perception Kayaks, and Nutribullet. Its buzzworthy digital and experiential marketing efforts for Organic Valley helped the co-op of dairy farmers become the country’s first billion-dollar organic food company. And as the agency has grown, it has moved up the Ad Age awards ladder, achieving Gold Small Agency of the Year in 2016 and Small Agency of the Year Southeastern Region in 2017 before the ultimate A-List honor.

Last year, Humanaut won new work from Splenda Stevia, Organic Voices, Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken, NutriBullet and others.

Humanaut works exclusively with organic, natural and better-for-you brands that are working to make things better for people, animals and the planet.

Humanaut currently has 26 full-time staffers with plans to expand the staff to 30 or more this year.

“We’re excited to bring this national attention to our home town Chattanooga,” said David Littlejohn, Humanaut co-founder and Creative Director. “Our goal is to make Chattanooga one of the best places for creative people to work in the world.”
