Dear Times Free Press subscribers:

As we deal with the fallout of the coronavirus, we will make some temporary changes to the daily print newspaper. Because numerous sports and entertainment events have been canceled, we simply don't have enough stories to publish a stand-alone Sports section. We will continue to provide sports stories, but that content will be rolled into the Region section Mondays and Sundays and the Business section on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Our entertainment publication, ChattanoogaNow, will be smaller this week and entertainment stories will be in the Region section in weeks after that.

In addition, in the interest of public safety and the safety of our employees, the Chattanooga Times Free Press will temporarily restrict the public's access to our building. To reach us, please call our main number, 423-757-6900, or reach the newsroom at 423-757-6302.

We understand that you might miss reading your regular sections; we will certainly miss producing them for you. But we will return to regular coverage with these sections when this public health crisis is over and the familiar rhythms of community life return.

Meanwhile, our team of journalists is working hard to bring you a steady stream of current, accurate information during this unprecedented situation. Go to the coronavirus page of timesfreepress.com for constant updates. Sign up for regular email updates on the newspaper's website.

Please stay safe, and thank you for reading the Times Free Press. We know credible information is essential, particularly in times of crisis, and your support makes it possible for us to cover our community like no one else can.
