One person died in a two-vehicle crash on Wilson Road Monday evening, according to a Chattanooga Police Department news release.
A 32-year-old man was driving north on the 5200 block of Wilson Road when his vehicle lost control, crossed the double yellow line and hit another vehicle, the release states.
The 32-year-old was pronounced dead on the scene by Hamilton County Emergency Services and the driver of the second vehicle was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing and police ask anyone with information about the incident to call 423-698-2525 or submit a tip through the CPD mobile app. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
