Save the date
Visit Christmases past as local volunteers take on the personas of the family members who lived in the Marsh House in 1880 and act out scenes of how they celebrated the holiday. The decor and furnishings – many of which are original to the LaFayette, Georgia, landmark – take on a special glow amid the period-appropriate holiday decorations. Tours are limited to five people each and must be booked at least two days in advance. Dates are Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 5-6 and 12-13, from 6-8 p.m. Call 706-638-5187 or message the Marsh House on Facebook to reserve. A $5 per person donation is requested to help with maintenance and other programs.
