Can we all agree burning popcorn has to be one of the worst smells ever?
In college, I experienced the embarrassment of burning popcorn in my dorm room’s microwave and smelling up the entire 13th floor. Then, the fire alarm went off and we had to climb down 13 flights of stairs to evacuate.
I was mortified, but imagine how these employees felt in 1975.
