Human remains found on Bradley County farm identified as Cleveland, Tenn., woman

Remains of a decomposing human body located on Aug. 5 near the 2000 block of Lower River Road in Charleston, Tenn. have been identified, according to a news release from the Bradley County Sheriff's Office.

The remains were discovered in a field on a farm at around 11:50 a.m. and were later found on Aug. 9 to belong to Carissa Diane Hamby, 32, of Cleveland, Tenn.

The cause of death is currently under investigation.
