Good morning, Good Day readers!
After four years, one can objectively say that Bryan Johnson has left his mark on Hamilton County Schools.
Tuesday was Johnson’s last day serving as the superintendent before beginning a new role with local trucking and logistics company US Xpress, and from the looks of it, he will be sorely missed by the education community as the district begins its search for a new leader.
“I believe we’ve got to build a culture where students can thrive,” he said during his interview for the role in 2017. “And it’s got to happen in every building no matter the demographic, no matter the situation.”
