Chattanooga police say they are investigating after a 31-year-old woman died in a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Highway 153.
According to a news release, investigators determined that a Toyota Corolla was traveling south on Highway 153 around 2:30 a.m. when it struck the back of a motorcyle. The Toyota continued south and sideswiped a Nissan Sentra and then two other vehicles stopped at a traffic light, according to investigators.
The driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services, and several other drivers reported injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
