Good morning and welcome to School Report!

Some schools and school districts across the Chattanooga area began this week with remote classes or had to close because of rising COVID-19 cases among students and staff.

In Southeast Tennessee, two schools in Bledsoe County and five schools in Hamilton County moved to remote learning this week, while several districts in North Georgia have required masks and shifted to remote or hybrid learning as a response to rising exposure to COVID-19.

I’m looking forward to hearing from families about your students’ experience with learning remotely in quarantine this year. If you know someone with children in quarantine for COVID-19 exposure, or have any other news tips or story ideas to share, please feel free to email me at achaturvedi@timesfreepress.com.
