The 6th Cavalry Museum recently received a $1,000 grant from our Fort Oglethorpe Walmart Neighborhood Market that will go to support our Free Museum Saturday initiative as well as other special events that are free to the public. Next month, we will observe National Ice Cream month and Free Museum Saturday on July 10 by giving away ice cream treats at the Vintage Base Ball double-header and have a special display on World War II food.
This is a shout-out to Walmart store manager Casey Hardeman for his continued support of the 6th Cavalry Museum.
