Idolizing Trump confuses believer
I have read that many Christian voters idolize former President Donald J. Trump.
If you believe in the Bible, then you know that God forbids idolatry. God is very specific about this. Exodus 20:3-4: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.”
“Psalm 135:15: “The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.”
Thus, I was quite surprised to see the gold, human-sized statue of Trump being wheeled into the Republican CPAC meeting. I don’t know about you, but I worship God, not Trump.
