Nuclear power is reliable, unlike sun

As I wrote this letter on Tuesday, it had been cloudy all day, and the next two days were projected to be worse. If we had to rely on solar power in this period of time, we would be hurting.

Neither solar nor wind are reliable sources of energy production. There is no guarantee the sun will shine or the wind will blow.

To transition transportation and building heating to electric will require massive increases in power production. It is my opinion that anyone who thinks we can accomplish this with wind and solar is delusional. We have the answer. It is nuclear power.

Nuclear plants produce very large amounts of cheap, reliable, carbon-free energy.
