Your Monday at a glance:

  • Weather: High of 68, with more clouds.
  • What to eat: Tartiflette, where velvety potatoes, crisp-edged cheese and smoky bacon meet. Here’s our recipe.
  • What to do: Get ready to rock. Bonnaroo organizers just announced a new series called Concerts On The Farm with scheduled acts that include Billy Strings on May 28, Jon Pardi with special guest Jameson Rodgers on May 29 and the Avett Brothers on July 2-4.
  • What we’re excited about: Another giant automaker – BMW, this time – ramping up its move into electric cars.

Greetings, Chattanooga!

I’m working from a new home office this morning – actually, my fifth since beginning remote work last March. Over the past year, I’ve moved my setup from room to room, trading a stool for the sofa for a yoga ball. Now, I’m back to the stool, seated at the table in my newly built dining room. I’m surrounded by windows, which provide a panoramic view of my yard.

As I settle into my new “office” this morning, I wonder – will this one be permanent? Will I ever return to the newsroom, or will work from home outlast the virus?

Here, experts weigh in.
