McKee Foods, the Collegedale, Tennessee-based snack food manufacturer, will offer the first-ever Little Debbie ice cream at nationwide Walmart stores beginning next month, according to a news release from Walmart spokesman John Engleman.

Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes Ice Cream will be launched exclusively at Walmart starting Nov. 1. The dessert is vanilla-flavored and includes cake chunks with swirls of green sprinkles and red icing. A pint will sell for $2.50, the release states.

Last year, McKee announced a $225 million expansion to a Collegedale plant that will add 480 jobs in the area. Completion is slated for late 2022 or early 2023.

In April, Collegedale commissioners approved a park partnership between McKee and the city involving 10 acres off Swinyar Drive.
