The 2022 Nightfall Friday night concert series will again feature primarily national and regional touring acts headlining the free Friday night shows at Miller Plaza, according to a news release. It will also have several local acts as headliners.
In addition to the Aug. 26 date, which will feature the winner of Road to Nightfall competition (which selects a local band to headline one week of the series), there will be two dates featuring co-headlining local acts. The first will feature Opposite Box and The Original FBI on June 17, and the second will present Call Me Spinster and the Drew Sterchi & Blues Tribe.
Nightfall is the city's longest-running outdoor summer concert series, celebrating its 35th season this year with a 15-week series of free outdoor concerts beginning Friday, May 27, and continuing every Friday through Sept.
