There's nothing quite like a hot cup of joe on a cold winter morning. Why not treat yourself this holiday season? With an abundance of local coffee options, you can spice up your day with several new winter blends. Here are a few of our favorites.

Culture Coffee Co.

610 Georgia Ave.

The downtown cafe is now offering four seasonal roasts: Frosty's Favorite combines the flavors of graham cracker, cinnamon and hazelnut; Snow Cream offers the classic taste of French vanilla, paired perfectly with the robust taste of a Brazilian bean; Pecan Pie is a classic take on the holiday treat with a creamy, caramel taste; and Jingle Bell Java blends the flavors of caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, pecan and rum that is sure to make your morning memorable. Twelve-ounce bags of each are available for purchase for $15.75.

Be Caffeinated

3601 Dayton Blvd.

14 W Kent St.

Be Caff's Brew Hard winter blend is inspired by "Die Hard," considered a classic Christmas film by many. Roasted by New Wave Coffee Roasters with notes of bergamot, clove, and bakers' chocolate, the local cafe describes its flavor as "unique and awesome" -- just like the movie. Twelve-ounce bags are available in-store or online for $16.

Goodman Coffee Roasters' Frozen Cherry seasonal blend comes from Santa Barbara, Colombia. The whole coffee cherry is flash fermented then frozen, thus halting fermentation, a process that adds to the coffee's unique taste with strong notes of blackberry, black cherry, black pepper and chocolate. Eight-ounce bags are available for $19.49.

Mad Priest Coffee Roasters

1900 Broad St.

Mad Priest's Cherubim Delight is a medium roast with notes of dark chocolate, tart cranberry and rich spice similar to cinnamon bark -- all the warm, comforting flavors of the holidays. Twelve-ounce bags are $15.99.
