Candy abounds in the Chattanooga area as Halloween draws closer. For families looking for a trunk-or-treat event close to home or for something a little different, here's a lineup of fall-themed, candy-centric fun for the weekends ahead:
BRAINERD NORTH GEORGIA TRUNK-OR-TREAT
When: 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22.
Where: Brainerd North Georgia, 1473 Cloud Springs Road, Rossville, Ga.
Details: Grab a costume and join for some family-friendly fun trick-or-treating from door to door inside, and free face painting will be available as well. Rain or shine and lasts until the candy is gone.
DRIVE-THROUGH TRUNK-OR-TREAT
When: 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22.
Where: Hitachi Astemo Rock Spring, 216 Thacker Drive, Rock Spring, Ga.
Details: Spooktacular event complete with popcorn, candy, toys and more, all right from the car. (Rain date is Oct. 29 from 5-7 p.m.)
FALL BASH
When: 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23.
Where: The Ministry Center, 2929 Hamill Road, Hixson.
Details: The Ministry Center presents its annual fall bash with a trunk-or-treat, games, inflatables, pony rides, a petting zoo, hay rides, face painting, ballon-twisting, food, giveaways and live music from Fresh Mind Band.
PLEASANT GROVE UNITED METHODIST TRUNK-OR-TREAT
When: 5-6:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23.
Where: Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 2701 Cleveland Highway, Dalton, Ga.
Details: The community is invited to dress in their Halloween best and enjoy this drive-thru trunk-or-treat event with candy for all.
HAMILTON COMMUNITY CHURCH TRUNK-OR-TREAT
When: 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23.
Where: Hamilton Community Church, 7997 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga.
Details: Activities include best trunk competition, inflatables, music, games, candy, costumes and more, all free. Pizza and drinks available for $5. Guests are asked to bring a canned food item for the church's Thanksgiving basket ministry.
GRACEWORKS FALL FESTIVAL, TRUNK-OR-TREAT
When: 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23.
Where: Graceworks Church, 6445 Lee Highway, Chattanooga.
Details: Come for trunk-or-treating and outdoor activities.
GRACE BAPTIST TRUNK-OR-TREAT
When: 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29
Where: Grace Baptist Church, 7815 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga.
Details: Grace Baptist Church is hosting a trunk-or-treat at the Grace Children's Center on the corner of Shallowford and Jenkins to include a bounce house and crafts for the kids and light refreshments for caregivers, beyond the trunks for trunk or treating. Free to the community.
MT. PISGAH BAPTIST CHURCH TRUNK-OR-TREAT
When: 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.
Where: Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 66 Westbrook Road, Ringgold, Ga.
Details: The Mt. Pisgah Baptist church trunk-or-treat is a family event that features carloads of candy and fun. Come enjoy a night of food, door prizes, kettle corn, hayrides, cake walks and dressing up.
CHRIST FAMILY CHURCH TRUNK-OR-TREAT
When: 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.
Where: 12070 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy.
Details: Hot dogs and chili, bonfire, movie and trunk-or-treat complete with prize for best trunk.
DAY OF THE DEAD TRUNK-OR-TREAT
When: 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29
Where: Soddy-Daisy Veterans Park, 9009 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy.
Details: Join in celebrating Halloween, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and the fall season with a community-wide trunk-or-treat, followed by a showing of Disney's "Coco" on a 33-foot screen in the park. Food trucks will be on site and free popcorn is provided for the movie beginning at 7:45 p.m. (Eventbrite tickets are required for popcorn while supplies last at bit.ly/sdcl-dayofthedead).
MOUNT CARMEL BAPTIST CHURCH TRUNK-OR-TREAT
When: 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.

Details: The community is welcome to a traditional trunk or treat event.
PHIL'S TRUNK-OR-TREAT CRUISE-IN
When: 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.
Where: Phil's Primetime Pizza, 122 Gordon St., Chickamauga, Ga.
Details: The annual trunk-or-treat cruise-in is back for 2022. Bring the superheroes and ghouls out for an evening of trick-or-treat fun from the trunk of some awesome vehicles.
GREEN'S FARM & GARDEN TRUNK-OR-TREAT
When: 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.
Where: Green's Farm & Garden store 3626 Brown Bridge Road, Dalton, Ga.
Details: Come out and bring the children as the store and parking lot open for their inaugural trunk-or-treat event. All ages welcome.

Details: Hosted by the Catoosa County Library, this year's trunk-or-treat takes place at the Colonnade on Benton Place Campus and features community partners hosting trunks for the community to visit, rain or shine.
CRUISERS TRUNK-OR-TREAT
When: 4-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31.
Where: Cambridge Square, Bradmore Lane, Ooltewah.
Details: Join the Ooltewah Cruisers for classic cars and motorcycles from around the Ooltewah and Chattanooga area in the square for a night of celebrations, costumes, memories and candy.
CAR SHOW, TRUNK-OR-TREAT
