Jack White will be coming to Walker Theatre on Sept. 17 for one of two acoustic shows he will be doing as part of his larger Supply Chain Issues Tour. He will also play an acoustic set in Sante Fe, New Mexico, on Sept. 29.

Third Man Records Vault Members will have access to first pre-sale tickets from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday.

Tickets for the newly added show will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday. For tickets and more information, visit jackwhiteiii.com/tour-dates.

The show will likely sell quickly for the intimate 850-seat venue, according to Tivoli Foundation Executive Director Nick Wilkinson.

"This is a really big show for us," he said via telephone.

White's last, only other appearance in Chattanooga was at Track 29 in 2012. It was considered a turning point moment for the venue and the city's music scene.

As with all of his shows lately, White is requiring that no photos, video or audio recording devices be allowed. Ticket buyers will be provided a lockable phone pouch by a service called Yondr upon entering the theater. According to a news release, the company recommends bringing a credit or debit card to make purchases for patrons who normally use their phones, and an area in the lobby will be available to access phones should an emergency arise.

The release also emphasizes that the no-phone policy is non-negotiable.

The Supply Chain Issues Tour has been called by Variety "the Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Show on Earth." It will resume later this month with White returning home for the second leg of North American headline shows. In addition, White will perform at a number of upcoming festivals, including Louisville's Bourbon & Beyond on Sept. 15 and the Dana Point, California, Ohana Festival on Oct. 1.

White's second new album of the year, "Entering Heaven Alive," was released by Third Man Records on July 22 and features the latest single, "If I Die Tomorrow."

White's first album of 2022, "Fear the Dawn," is also available via Third Man Records. The album – which includes the singles "Taking Me Back," "Hi-De-Ho (w/ Q-Tip)," "What's The Trick?," and the title track, "Fear Of The Dawn" – has made a landmark chart debut following its April 8 release, with nine No. 1 chart debuts in its first week including Billboard's "Top Album Sales," "Top Current Album Sales," "Top Alternative Albums," "Top Rock Albums," "Record Label Independent Current Albums," "Digital Albums," "Current Digital Albums," "Internet Albums," and "Vinyl Albums," as well as at No. 4 on the overall Billboard 200.
